👇 THREAD: I am waiting in line to get my COVID test at @Dodgers Stadium after being in 2 hospitals for an @AP story.

It’s just after 11:30 a.m. My appointment is at noon. The test site address is Scott Avenue. I’m at the entrance to the 110 north.

I lost count of all the cars. 1 in 145 Angelenos has COVID-19, according to estimates released around Thanksgiving.

Two months ago, the rate was 1 in 880.

Looking at this line of cars wrapped around the stadium, I’m terrified of what it is now.
