Sometimes I wonder how different my life would have been if I could have changed my relationship with drugs WITHOUT all of the shame and stigma that “treatment” and society put on me. In 15 minutes, I was diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder. I was told I was powerless. That 1/3 of my friends around me would be dead in a year. That I had harmed everyone around me and would need to beg for their forgiveness.

I’d like to propose we push back on using the number of doses of naloxone administered in an overdose as the benchmark of severity. How often have we heard people say “yeah it took 10
Doses of Narcan to bring him back!” 1/ There are a lot of issues with this thinking. For years many of us have successfully reversed overdoses with 0.5-2mg. 4mg/0.1ml which is the Narcan formulation and is considerably concentrated and should be sufficient for most overdoses. 2/

Brief demonstration using turmeric and salt to show how I believe fentanyl contamination of cocaine occurs accidentally towards the end of the supply chain. Easy to do if using the same surface. #HarmReduction One more quick one about surfaces that look like they’ve been cleaned off. Still can pull more than trace amount after I’ve done the first scrape.
