Today we saw unprecedented scenes of Australians seeking support from their Government with many facing long lines to speak to Services Australia staff in our service centres and long waits on the phone to our call centres.

Many asking for a hand up for the very first time. As the images demonstrate, the scale of this challenge is immense and it will take some time to get everyone into our systems but please be assured support is here for you and your family.

Some key information for Australians seeking access to Government payments 👇 Current Centrelink customers:
You do not need to do anything to receive the Economic Support Payment or Coronvirus Supplement.

These will be paid automatically to you if you are on an eligible payment.

Please do not call or visit Centrelink unless you have urgent business.
