Today we saw unprecedented scenes of Australians seeking support from their Government with many facing long lines to speak to Services Australia staff in our service centres and long waits on the phone to our call centres.
Many asking for a hand up for the very first time.
As the images demonstrate, the scale of this challenge is immense and it will take some time to get everyone into our systems but please be assured support is here for you and your family.
It is okay to reach out for help, your Government is here for you.

You do not need to do anything to receive the Economic Support Payment or Coronvirus Supplement.
These will be paid automatically to you if you are on an eligible payment.
Please do not call or visit Centrelink unless you have urgent business.

To recap, having a whole of govt architecture allows us to build an ontology of capabilities across govt.
Coupled with a more agile funding model, it will allow us to move more quickly when trying new solutions and capabilities or scaling up platforms to address emerging needs.
The result will enable us to get a true whole of government view of the technology portfolio and make the right decisions around the Cabinet table to achieve our goal of delivering world-leading digital services for the benefit of all Australians.
