Waking up to the news of the Trump assassination attempt here are my initial thoughts.

Trump was hurt in the most minor way possible and jumped to his feet pumping the air for the perfect photo opportunity.

Now it’s the ‘image that’ll propel him to the White House, or that- ‘He’ll take a bullet for the country’ so the focus is now 100% back on him.

Of course his supporters are already saying it’s an ‘inside job’ by the Government, I think there’s an easy argument against that, if it was, he’d be dead.

I have a couple of basic questions, why would-

Imagine Trump won and was still serving his second term this is my take on where we’d be.

World

Ukraine falls to Russia in the 2nd year of the war as the US threatens NATO members to stop supplying weapons. Lithuania and Latvia are preparing for Russian invasion.

Hamas still attacks Israel, Trump suggests wiping Gaza off the map. - Economy

Inflation still rises as high, but doesn’t fall so fast because businesses are encouraged to make record profits.

There is no investment in infrastructure so there’s little economic growth meaning employment levels haven’t fully recovered.

Further tax cuts for the rich expand the deficit -

Yes I know I’m not American, so why am I so concerned about another Trump presidency?

I’m not going to lose my Social Security, my family aren’t going to suffer due to lack of medical care, my kids aren’t going to get shot at school.

It’s because I don’t want the ‘ruler’ of the world’s main superpower to be a raving lunatic who is 100% focused on getting revenge.

That’s why… I see this has annoyed a lot of Americans and I should 'butt out'.

No I won't,Trump is a global threat.

Weakening NATO, reckless economic decisions that could cause an international recession, siding with dictators, damaging the environment, the list goes on.

He also sets an-

Looking from afar at the American election in 2016, like many, I was totally shocked that Trump was elected.

Of course we now know that many events tipped the tens of thousands of critical votes he needed to win.

Of course Comey announcing the FBI were reinvestigating- Hillary Clinton was a major factor, but we now know Trump conspired to hide damaging information about himself which may of been enough to cancel this out.

Although anyone paying attention had already seen him brag about sexual assault, disrespect military families and-

Are Americans aware that many of their processed foods & drinks are banned in Europe?

Such as Gatorade & Mountain Dew, because they contains BVO -brominated vegetable oil

BVO thought to cause tremors, fatigue, headache & memory loss, also - Wheat Thins and Frosted Flakes are banned because they contain BHT - butylated hydroxytoluene.

BHT is said to cause liver, thyroid and kidney problems and affecting lung function and blood coagulation.

There is also evidence that it's a carcinogen, which is why it's banned -

Once upon a time the UK was one of the members of the European Union and had been since 1973.

In 2016 we voted to leave, by only 51.9% to 48.1% in a referendum that was hugely influenced by those with vested interests.

The very rich and the media controlled most of the narrative and convinced the average working person it was in their best interests to leave- This was mainly argued on one front - immigration! Being part of the EU meant free movement of labour
across each member, so a French person could work in London, and a British person could work in Rome etc so it was fair.

The EU also helped workers with laws governing rights and maximum hours they could work-

When the UK voted for Brexit (leaving the EU) in 2026 Trump arrived in Scotland and tweeted that we 'got our country back'.

Scotland voted against Brexit, but we had to leave as part of the UK.

The following are some of the best local responses to his tweet.

Enjoy... Image

Let me tell you a story from 2016 about British politics that has a lot in common with current American politics.

The UK was one of the original members of the European Union in 1973, in 2016 we voted to leave, by 51.9% to 48.1%. Now this was a referendum with one vote - per adult so seemed fair, but the very rich and the media controlled most of the narrative and convinced the average working person it was in their best interests to leave. This was mainly argued on one front - immigration. Being part of the EU meant free movement of labour -

Once upon a time an American man wanted to build a golf course in Scotland because his mother was born there a long time ago. He submitted the plans but was told no, because it would damage the special environment. But this man did not like to be told no, so he promised great jobs and riches to try and get his own way. The local people were wise and still said no, so he then used some powerful friends who overruled this decision and agreed because they believed the promise of jobs and riches. Now some of these local people had lived on this land

Once upon a time an American man wanted to build a golf course in Scotland because his mother was born there. He submitted the plans but was told no, because it would damage the special environment. But this man didn't like to be told no, so he promised great jobs and riches so he could get his own way. The local people still said no, so he used some powerful friends to make it happen. Now some of these local people had lived on this land for generations and didn't want to sell to the American. Instead of offering a better price, this man set out to
