The Truth About The Incident #SugaDidNotLie

1. Yonhap News called Suga's vehicle a kickboard in initial reports, before Suga and Big Hit released their statements. Then media blamed Suga and Big Hit for not knowing the name of the vehicle when they didn't know what it was either. Accused them of trying to show the incident wasn't as serious as it was. Now JTBC and others edit articles and admit they were wrong about it.

2. CCTV released by JTBC was fake. Numerous media outlets treated it as real, the video was also shown on TV News on major TV Channels. Now the video is removed.

3. Suga was riding an electric kickboard with a seat.

4. Suga wasn't driving fast as it was initially reported, JTBC intentionally sped up the video they shared making it seem like he was driving at a higher speed.

5. Alcohol level was never confirmed by the police. At the official press conference the representative of Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency was asked to confirm the rumored alcohol level and replied: "I understand that some media outlets reported the alcohol level. I can say that it's at license revocation level but it's difficult to reveal specifics." We're still waiting for the official annoucement. Media showed numbers that would suggest there was a reason for his driving license to be revoked. Suga and Big Hit didn't mention the alcohol level either.

6. Despite countless reports that Suga lied about the distance, it turned out he didn't lie. The distance was about 500m.

7. There were reports about him laying on the street when the police found him or him meeting the police not in front of his house. Both turned out to be lies.

8. Second CCTV was released by Yonhap News yesterday (the blurry one) and it was reported that he hit a curb, fell near pedestrians and ran away. It turned out it wasn't him either. Both CCTV videos were FAKE. Only the high quality CCTV released on Aug 14 is real.

9. Everyone reported that "Suga said he had one glass of beer". Suga said in his statement that he drank beer, didn't mention the amount. The police hasn't revealed how much he drank either.

10. Some journalists claimed that Suga was too intoxicated to talk to the police or be tested. There is no source proving that these accusations can be treated seriously. Suga and Big Hit revealed that Suga talked to the police, was fined, and was informed that his license would be revoked, and was allowed to go home. He took the breathalyzer test at the scene and didn't have to go to the station.

11. During last few days articles with headlines mentioning imprisonment trended. According to people who know the law and analysis of similar offences, Suga's punishment will most likely be a fine and license revocation. It's his first offence, there were no victims and property wasn't damaged. In a different well known case of an actress who damaged property, cut off electricity in 50+ stores and attempted to run away, the punishment was also a fine and license revocation only. JTBC claimed Suga drove a different vehicle
