Dereliction of duty belongs to society and our continued acceptance of the devaluation of some members of society over others.

Society is responsible for ignoring the needs of some of its members because they are deemed less valuable. Our social and political systems legitimize devaluation of the poor, PWD, seniors and children because they do not produce profits, rather they consume resources.

Society would need to reconsider the premise of its systemic foundations to alter this reality.

People need to remember that disability funding is 100% provincial.

So expecting the feds to take over disability funding is unreasonable at this point.

However, what if the plan is to assume responsibility when provinces abandon disability funding? Because they will. They’re already moving in that direction.

It’s the same strategy that was used for Old Age Security and Guaranteed Income Supplements for citizens over age 65.

Benefits for seniors is actually the province’s jurisdiction as listed in the BNA 1867.

Cascading series of failures means individuals are unable to address all the problems. Frankly, I’d be surprised if people were aware of all the failures occurring simultaneously.

This is a strategy.

Multiple serious problems means the electorate is divided in attention. Some will focus on trans people’s rights.

Some will focus on COVid as a continuing threat.

Some will focus on homeless people’s plight.

Some will focus on strip mining at headwaters for most of Alberta’s fresh water supply.

Some will focus on drought and access to water.

I always remember Art Finkelstein was a man of Jewish descent who manipulated voter perception ruthlessly to elect some very antisemitic people. Because it made him wealthy and in high demand by the far right.

Finkelstein helped Netanyahu to get elected. It means Israel’s democratic principles have been attacked since 1996 if not earlier.

For every person who swore knowledge of Covid only began December 31, 2019, please read the following.

It was reported all across the globe that a mysterious illness was circulating by mid November 2019.

Which explains why Kenney had ordered & hid a stockpile of PPE. I remember being called a conspiracy theorist for suggesting the virus existed before December 31, 2019.

But here is proof.

Organized by Christian Nationalist extremists (CNP ~ Ginni Thomas) in cooperation with paramilitary groups (Oath Keepers; Proud Boys). @Garossino A year later, an attempt was made using siege tactics on the capital city and blockade of borders/trade routes.

O’Toole ran for leader on a Take Back Canada platform.

Same people currently in control of Alberta wanted O’Toole to claim election fraud in October 2021.

By 1935, Hitler had already been in power for a few years and had removed dissent by outlawing opposition parties. The suppression of progressive and pro democracy academics was well underway. The indoctrination of German children had been secured through curriculum changes. The state created second class citizens by denying Jews full citizenship with the adoption of Race Laws.

Persecution of LGBTQ was increased. Jehovah’s Witnesses were targeted.

By this point, it was too late to intervene.

When I worked for Public Health Agency of Canada, this was the model used. For good reason.

International research into childhood development revealed early childhood provides a window of learning opportunity which impacts an individual for their lifetime. By no means could the federal government pay for early childhood learning programs for every child across the nation. But an effort was made to provide funding for low income and indigenous children.

Albertans must remember Alberta govt fought national standards for LTC. Refused to accept addition funds from Ottawa if strings were attached.

Nurses are gatekeepers and the strings would have kept them in LTC to maintain minimum standards accompanied by reports on progress.

Stockwell Day sat on the Canadian version of the BOD for an obscure non profit International Fellowship of Christian and Jews that has raised hundreds of millions. While Trump can easily be summed up as “malevolent narcissist” that doesn’t mean he’s insane. People with personality disorders are rarely insane.

For that matter what does insane even mean? Generally it means not able to discern reality from fantasy created by their mental illness.

Like any of the following untreated mental illnesses:, bipolar disorder, paranoid schizophrenia, drug induced psychosis.

What exactly do people believe PP is doing with the names, addresses and emails of the people who sign up to his requests to “sign here”?

He uses the contact information to inundate them with disinformation. Duh. We have all seen PP tweets that ask supporters to sign up to fight inflation, remove the carbon tax, get tough on crime.

Well, the people who do sign up are then inundated with varying types of information to sway their opinion. Snail mail pamphlets, email, texts, etc.

There are two sides.

Saskatchewan is indicating their abandonment of rule of law.

Federal authority is being used to enforce the law.

Saskatchewan premier is breaking the law.

Voluntarily submitting to the law of the nation is a condition of democratic governance. Refusing to submit to the rule of law is an act of anarchy.

Presenting this situation as a minor tit-for-tat conflict seriously undermines the legitimacy of rule of law.

There are no options for rule of law. They either apply or they don’t.

That’s the conflict.

Today’s RCMP news conference is disappointing. But it’s also an opportunity to use framing.

I don’t mean put a positive spin on it.

It is positive that suspected crimes were found. While identity of the suspects remains unknown, we know UCP inherently has corruption issues. The fact charges cannot be laid is disappointing.

But when has corruption ever been so neat and tidy that an authoritarian takeover of a democratic government would be so easily halted with an arrest of Kenney, a perp walk and shame on the UCP.

Well, Danielle Smith is doing the same with adherence to GHG emissions standards, which is a Canadian law. Doug Ford is ignoring the Canada Health Act and installing private healthcare as he starves public healthcare. His party has also been caught performing back room deals benefitting large donors, allegedly.

Law enforcement in ON is selectively refusing to enforce Canadian laws.

I don’t understand people’s thought processes.

We have an internationally renowned leader with exceptional diplomacy skills and well developed political and economic relationships with multiple nations democratic and less democratic alike. His domestic policies have supported Canadians who lost their jobs through a global pandemic and financial policies have left Canada in one of the more enviable positions.

The level of vitriol matches his effectiveness as a politician.

But we should get rid of him?

This is what is missing in Canadian journalism across the nation. The article describes the issues from multiple perspectives. It exposes the motivations and interests of North American and Indian states as well as foreign policy interests in other democracies with a Sikh Indian Punjabi diaspora. It’s informative without biasing the reader.

In 2014 Russia was supposed to host the World Congress of Families annual conference. But sanctions for annexing Crimea forced withdrawal from attending.

But Canadian and American evangelicals persisted. Several Americans and Canadians involved in Christian far right activism attended the conference.

The conference “promoted” family focussed policy. Anti gay marriage & anti choice policies were prominent within the agenda.
