How to can your own lard: a thread.

Start with good quality fat, preferably from a forest-raised or pasture-raised hog, NOT one that comes from a pen where it's been raised in its own feces and fed soy and GMO crap it's whole life. Remove any meaty parts and give them to your dog or cats and cut the fat into strips no more than an inch wide.
We're going to be using a grinder so there's no need to cut it up smaller. Your wrists will thank me.
