@zaldytor 1 Frankly, I do not recall us ever being bullied by China because bullying takes two to tango: the bully and the bullied. We have never been bullied. Nor has China ever tried. Even when the previous admin stepped back from the face off with China at the reef, PNoy 2 sued & won the land…rather seamark Arbitral Award. And Duterte declared at the UN that the Award shall stand forever, impossible to compromise or in anyway diminish. Yes, Chinese fishing or fishy vessels do swarm our seas. The US lost but to no one. America didn’t win but didn’t lose. It couldn’t keep the defeated down despite the latter’s horridness. None of their own free will joined the defeated yet the US couldn’t stop a rebellion without a cause but its own malign existence. But a lesson was deeply imparted: attack America and everything in the direction wherefrom the attack came is debris. George Dubya made America safe. America didn’t win but it didn’t lose. She was a bit turned off with me. There were other disagreements. It got worse after I was made publisher of Fred Ramos’s Daily Globe—the greatest newspaper in Philippine journalism then, before and after until my TODAY. This was well before UNCLOS, from Quirino’s time on, and no president cared nor did they specifically authorize the AFP’s preemptive occupations. Marcos had a small sense of its possible importance

Ramon, even our Communists are idiots. For a while it was thought that the longest running insurgency in history (CPP-NPA) was a sign of its vibrancy and intelligence until it was realized that anybody can take up arms and hide but be too stupid to win as the CCP proved when it rejected PRRD’s inclusive peace offer of working with government without officially sharing power (unConstitutional). In fact, there is no more insurgency; just pockets—not of resistance but sporadic armed attacks.
In Vietnam, the smartest joined the Communists…

Is there a political problem in private sector procurement of vaccines? No. Won’t big business jump ahead of the line of big, medium and small? No. Won’t the rich be vaccinated first? No. Is there a need to rank businesses by the nature of their products to decide who will have priority in procurement? No. Is there a criteria for deciding priority? No. Should we try to find a criteria? No matter what criteria is chosen it will end up as bribery. Explanation: Government has and will always have first priority to acquire vaccines for its responsibility:
