Honestly I don't even know why the death penalty is even still a debate. My state recently resumed executions for the first time in some years and every time a new one is plastered all over the news I get sick thinking about it. And then I feel guilty for feeling bad because there are victims and their families to consider. But come on, lethal injection in front of a crowd of spectators?
