The effects of oversaturation, sensationalism, non-stop drama, obsessiveness over CCV, etc

I think the meta is changing towards actual, true authenticity for VTubers in 2024 If we think critically a bit about these issues bit by bit, the bigger picture for the behavior shifts makes more sense

1) Oversaturation

There are simultaneously more VTubers than ever before and also more graduations than ever before. Inflation and deflation happens routinely

I want to elaborate on my take on USB mics

A big reason why I am a strong proponent AGAINST it is bc it assumes a lot out of a lot of people.

There ARE good USB mics like the Wave 3, but no matter how much plugins you use, you usually cannot exclude terrible noise around you See, a good amount of my clients live with family or with partners, or live in studio apartments and don’t have the capability to have privacy

Sitting down with people for hundreds of hours has taught me that you NEED MORE to be able to do content in such use cases

If its the latter, you're cut out for this I can understand how difficult it can be with mental health, neurodivergency, full-time work, family obligations, abusive situations, etc things that are all hurdles in a long journey towards your dreams as a creator

Twitch is objectively getting WORSE while YouTube is actively improving every week, I would say that it’s safe to say that moving to YouTube is the smart long term goal and ALWAYS has been despite most people’s personal limitations
