[Thread] Funded startup versus Bootstrapped startups.
A funded startup is a fighter jet. It flies at supersonic speeds, creates sonic boom and everyone is in awe.
A bootstrapped startup take off is exciting and the farther you want to travel the more boring it can get.
A funded startup can maneuver (pivot) and take more G's (ability to absorb the shock) at high speeds.
A bootstrapped startup maneuverability is limited to the altitude and the max G force it can take at that moment.

I was at #CAST2018
It was a lovely conference
This is my 3rd CAST in 10 years
The first CAST I attended - I didn't have the money to pay for tickets or stay. @michaelbolton gifted me a ticket through his miles and also let me stay at his home
I also met @JerryWeinberg there.
On the morning of #CAST2018 is when the news leaked that Jerry had passed away to continue his work with Virginia Satir
I wasn't sure what to think because in my mind Jerry has no death. Physical, yes.
Are we really associating just physical existence as "life"?
