On 25 Dec 1968, 44 landless Dalit agricultural labors were burnt to death by the army of landlords at Keezhvenmani village, Tamil Nadu, India. The privileged caste Gopalakrishna Naidu, mastermind of gruesome act got acquitted by court & murdered by one of the Victim's relative.
