Real, totes legit fax thread about pl_rumford for the TF2 Wiki- the map is based off a paper mill in a town named Rumford, and is canonically set in Maine. #TF2 The map's original design was by @nesmanTF2, and was intended to be a reasonably accurate depiction of how paper is actually made. Logs are cut down, chipped up, turned into pulp, and then pressed into paper. The festive version of this map has the paper become wrapping paper.
