(1/7)🧵 ENSO is one of the best oceanic teleconnections to use when forecasting long range. This year, we'll be in a La Nina, transitioning to neutral during the peak of spring. Historically, this yields higher probabilities of a tornado outbreak occurring in the Central/Southern Plains and the Mississippi/Ohio River Valleys. (2/7)
