The amazing young man you all know here as Cole Summers was named Kevin Cooper. This is his dad.

Saturday, when he was out celebrating a friend's birthday we got the phone call that's every parent's worst nightmare. Our son died in a kayaking accident. Though he used a pseudonym, everything else you know about him is real. His passion for making where we live a better place drove him every day. Knowing he helped inspire others brought him immeasurable joy.
