Just saw an old interview clip where Arundathi Roy talks about how the poor is erased from popular culture and cinema as opposed to pre 90's cinema where the poor is romanticized. And she blames Globalisation for this. This obsession with romanticising poverty is the reason why middle class Indians find it difficult to get out of the poverty mindset. Somehow it makes Indians believe that there is humility in poverty and heropanti in staying poor.

I had to take a test as a part of an interview with a huge MNC. The company uses a third-party talent acquisition and management company for conducting the test.
