Mark Coleman joined The Hitchers in Spring 1989. He didn’t know us (that’s Eoin, Niall and Hoss) before he turned up, nor we him. At that point we had done exactly two gigs. Both very different flavours of calamitous. We could never enthuse a guitarist to join. 1/
There just wasn’t a lot for a guitarist to get their teeth into with us. So for our first gig a couple of guitarists from a bluesy cover band Niall was playing with covered the bases and for the second -with both those giving a firm and unequivocal "NO!" 2/

Word is likely out by now as we recently informed those who funded Fun & Games 25th Anniversary Vinyl Re-Issue that the release has had to be pushed back into 2022. Everyone's been great about it and thanks again for your patience. 1/
This is due to manufacturing issues that are evidently widespread. Rather than set new dates which are effectively beyond our control we think it best to hold off until we've the DHL guy's kicking the door in. 2/
