2) The letter explains the reason for declining support for gay marriage & “LGBTQ+” activism, which are primarily 1) radical trans activism, 2) sexualized behavior involving kids, 3) an intolerant & indoctrinating social movement influenced by critical theories & postmodernism. 
2) The more the public learns about gender activism, the more people from diverse backgrounds begin to oppose it. This issue has become extremely polarized. Most people want the best for the world but are prone to reaction & tribal thinking. 
2) The term “LGBTQ+” has become a political agenda term. These are people w/ differing needs & opinions. There is no “LGBTQ+” person. There is an apparatus of “LGBTQ+” orgs. that are well-funded & have well-salaried people who needed an agenda after ss marriage was legalized. 
2) The editors at @MotherJones are to blame for allowing their magazine to be possessed by such emotionally driven ideology. They can't be trusted with a subject matter like chemically castrating & sterilizing minors. @MonikaBauerlein @ClaraJeffery @jahnaberry 
2) The trans movement has been successful in achieving compliance with extreme demands such as medicalizing minors with experimental protocols, housing violent male sex offenders in women’s prisons, & allowing advantaged males to compete against girls in competitive sports.
2) While the UK government recently released #thecassreport indicating low quality to justify medicalizing gender dysphoric minors, the affirmative model has taken over the US. Any identity in the child is affirmed at any age. Medical treatments begin as young as 9 years old.
2) The Homoarchy article contains a link to audio files from a 2017 Gender Odyssey conference that was attended by USPATH members such as Johanna Olson-Kennedy, researcher @olsonista & Michelle Angello (LCSW) who did a talk called “Complicated Cases".
2) Trans activists & the institutions they have captured have effectively promoted the idea of the “trans child.” While some persistently dysphoric children exist, many children in the past outgrow gender dysphoria, concerning in the face of sharp increases in medicalized kids. 
2) T activists are motivated to indoctrinate kids into their worldview that anyone can identify as they wish. This serves a narcissistic purpose for validation. They have corrupted institutions who now blur definitions & push incoherency. @PdxInstitute addresses this well.

2) Trans activism is not like the women’s, gay/lesbian, or civil rights movements that sought equal treatment under the law. T activism seeks legal backing to identify into other groups’ sex/sexual orientations when they are not them, w/ significant ramifications. @HJoyceGender 
2) Gender medicine is far more extreme than most people realize. And small committees of activist health professionals took over health institutions to write policy & create the impression gender medicine is safer & more psychologically beneficial than it is. @shellenberger 
2) Queer/gender theory emerged from a combination of the work of left-wing academia influenced by Marxism & postmodern philosophy & sex researchers involved in studying gender dysphoria promoting hormonal & surgical body modification. It is now global.
