Here's a very interesting race in Oklahoma. The name "Putin" comes up in this article. Something stinks ...bad. Really bad. This is a must read:

aol.com/texan-seeking-… Let's push this post through the stratosphere. People from coast to coast need to read this article.

As you may know, I am 100% FOR tighter gun legislation, and making the process of buying a high velocity/high capacity weapon, a long and arduous process that also requires a psych eval.

That said, until such time that happens, when an ex-President and many other elected officials are calling for civil war…and having a nation full of radical cult members who are all too willing to comply with their cult leaders demands, if that time should come, then I believe the following with every fiber of my being:

Every home should have at least one high capacity/high velocity weapon, purchased legally and from registered gun dealers at a gun store.

Thing is, I’ve seen what human beings will do to each other. It’s the shit of Stephen King-on steroids.

Once you’ve seen it, you can’t un-see it. It takes your awareness of how evil the world can be….to levels you had never before imagined could exist.

As horrific as Jan 6th was, thankfully, dozens of bodies were not strewn around the Capitol grounds, having been mowed down by people with the means to cut bodies in half with gunfire. It could have been uglier on an unimaginable scale.

As long as the possibility of a Putin inspired, Trump/GOP driven civil war exists…and it certainly does…then I am going to have what I need.

Everything I am legally able to own, I probably have. I have a wife and three kids. Of course I would protect them by any means necessary…and do so with the most effective, efficient and reliable tools available legally to citizens of this country.

At this point, when talking to someone one on one, and we are discussing the possibilities the near future could hold, and they tell me “But I am for the banning/much harder to acquire high velocity/high capacity weapons” I say, “Yeah. Me too. In the meantime, everyone should have at least one in the home, and be damn proficient with it/them.”

“I can both see the need to restrict access to them, and be smart enough to realize that if a bunch of fucking wackos have them, and are willing to kill people like me over my political affiliation….that I’d be the dumbest asshole on the planet to say ‘Yeah. I know they have them. I know they’re just waiting for the go ahead to hurt people like me…but nah…that’s okay. I don’t want one. I have a handgun, or a butter knife.’”

Yeah. Fuck that. I’ve seen evil. Butter knives against evil equal a funeral. Your funeral. Hell, even having an equal means of protection can mean a funeral….but…I like being able to up the odds as MUCH as possible, when it comes to protecting my family.

I’ve seen evil and ugliness. I know the factors that need to exist for ordinary human beings to act in evil ways and create ugliness, destroying lives…and families along the way.

The factors for that now exist in this country. They have for a while. Do you really think Putin was going to sit back and watch his plan for America get as far as it has, and then call off the dogs? Not a chance in hell. He’s going to push his assets in the USA to try again…and try harder. He is.

Some of you will disagree with me. That’s your prerogative, but….it’s just likely not a wise way to lean. The potential consequence for leaning the wrong way…could be more lethal than it needs to be.

But, some of you are going to read this…and then read it again….and think, yeah….I could PROBABLY start a fire on this 6 day outing in the woods, using two sticks to rub together….but….I KNOW I can start a fire with three lighters, and a jar with kerosene soaked strips of cloth. I better do THAT.” You’ll “get it.”

When I think “Be prepared, I don’t let my beliefs about gun legislation present barriers to our safety or our lives, when thinking about how I’m going to keep them alive. I will keep them alive….when and if we are put in a bad situation with no alternative…By. Any. Means. Necessary.

Thing is, when the shit hits the fan…so will you. Be able to defend and protect the lives of your family. 💙 P.S. Do you know who the most responsible gun owners are? People who want MORE gun legislation and making acquiring ANY gun much harder. That’s who. So, basically…DEMOCRATS.

I’ve worked with some of the most elite warriors this country has. There is much to glean from the way they process information. One useful concept is just moving forward as though you can absolutely do what it is you have set out to do. See, the thing is, if it truly isn’t (1) …possible to do it, and there is some real world reason why it just cannot be done, then guess what; you just won’t be able to do it. It’s as simple as that. In short, if it CAN’T be done, then you’ll find out. However, if it CAN be accomplished, and, you take every step (2)

Worry too much? I don’t do many things well-at all-but helping people tackle anxiety is my forte.

Shrink your ring. What’s that mean? Imagine an 8 ft diameter circle around you. Now, take notice of everything going on INSIDE that circle. Are you safe? Is their a threat? (1) Now, expand your circle out some it goes around your block? Same questions. Now the whole neighborhood. Next, your who city. Then your whole state. Now the whole nation. Finally, the whole world. Clearly, the further your circle widens, the more unknowns & (2)

For many years I utilized medically supervised hypnosis for various purposes; some of them experimental. From that frame work and perspective, I thought I would share some of the thing I see being employed with intention, and, things that I believe to have been unconsciously (1) …assimilated, and utilized by Donald Trump, and a hand full of others. There’s so much…so I’ll just touch on a few things, here. First, when you see the occasional “misspelled” word in one of his tweets, don’t be so quick to conclude it was due to ignorance, or, a simple..(2)

What has taken so long to get this close to indicting Trump, and why is has the GOP been so slow to turn on him (for the ones that have)? I think PART of it has been something simple: Donald Trump spent years collecting dirt on virtually everyone that he might one day have..(1) …as a foe, or….anyone he might have as staff, cabinet members, appointees etc. It’s class Mafia AND KGB shit: have the ability to destroy someones life…and be able to blackmail them into doing, or not doing….and Goddamn thing you want.

But…once everyone in that…(2)

I’ve long had a hypothesis about the treatment of people of color by police officers. Are the people who do this, racists? I believe so. However, I don’t believe everyone having racist views is prone to shoot or beat to death, innocent people. (1) I believe the hiring of people prone to violence is the key issue to target. Why? I believe it will be easier to design entrance tests that effecively screen for people prone to violence than it will be to screen for people holding racist views.

I’ve known people in my life (2)

I won’t get into details, here, but I have a bit of experience with staying cool when chaos and hell is swirling all around you. One mental prep you can and SHOULD do, is take your fears and amplify the shit out of them. Imagine even WORSE things happening, but see yourself…(1) …handling it. Imagine yourself keeping your shit together, and not getting swept up in the emotions. Imagine staying focused, in every moment, constantly assessing and asking “What’s the most useful thing I can do right NOW?”(2)

Most find it hard to understand how people like McCarthy can do what he did. We shouldn’t. He’s a sociopath. Most people don’t achieve high positions-and keep them-unless they are. Many years ago, I sold insurance. Each night, I shared a hotel room with another agent. In John Grinder’s book “Turtles All the Way Down”, John recalls an experiences with a tribesman who lived deep in the forest; a tribe of people, who, because of the density of the trees, had never seen a living creature from more than about 15-20 feet away.

John describes…1/ ..the first time this tribesman had ever left the forest, when John drove him far out into the plains. When John spotted a small herd of a type of buffalo, almost 1/2 mile in this distance, he pointed them out to the tribesman. The tribesman laughed at the idea of these small…2/

Suffer from anxiety, excessive worry, or incessant chatter inside your head? I think you’ll like this thread.

When we think, we do something called “subvocalization.” This is where we make tiny, fractionated muscular movements with our tongue, lips and other muscles …1/ …the mouth. We do this, unconsciously, because it facilitates the inner auditory chatter we call “thinking.”

Yes, we also think in images and feelings, but, much of the meaning of those images is created through what we “say” about them, inside our head. And, feelings are 2/

There’s no doubt about it, our world has changed since Trump. It’s a more violent nation. I have a personal rule for my family to avoid violence. I thought I’d share it with you. To the degree we can be easily categorized, our likelihood of being targeted increase. 1/ Place 100 kids in a summer camp barracks, and you’ve got 100 kids in summer camp. Place 50 of them in barracks A, and 50 in barracks B, and you’ve now created a rivalry.

(1) For those of you dealing with anxiety, here’s another tip.

Remember the two “P’s”:

1. What is POSSIBLE

2. What is PLAUSIBLE. (Likely)

Almost everything you can imagine, is possible, no matter how wild you get. (2) FAR, fewer things, however, make it to the plausible/likely list.

For example, is it possible, that as I am writing this, a small meteor could blast through my roof, strike me in the head and kill me? Sure. About 500 meteorites strike the earth a year.

However, is is…

(1) you suffer from anxiety or excessive worry about the world we live in, this thread will offer something useful.

When I’ve assisted people with gripping anxiety, I’ve always found a few common threads. I’ll focus on one of them here. (2) People who don’t worry much, tend to have a fairly tight “Impact Radius.” It’s a term I made up to describe how far out from themselves they extend their awareness about things they think could harm them.

For example, when I am relaxing at home, my Impact Radius extends..

1/5 What takes something from a thought-something someone tells us, or some thought that we have-and transforms it into a belief?

This is important to know. A belief is much stronger than a mere thought. Beliefs drive behavior. Sometimes very dangerous behavior.

Let’s look… 2/5…closer. Let’s say you look up in the sky and see a strange light, zigging and zagging. You think “That might be an alien space craft!” You’ve just had a thought. As a thought, it’s got about the same power to drive your behavior as any other passing thought. Not much. But..
