Using data from 1976, this study compares Blacks and Whites who are earning the same wage. It was found that Blacks had equal or lower qualifications than Whites at each wage level, evidence of a lack of racial bias in the labor market against Blacks, if not bias in their favor. doi.org/10.2307/1058495
