Collagen will help give you smooth, plump, & hydrated skin if you use it in this form... TOPICAL FORM!

Yep (I had the same reaction as Joey 😂)!

I was pleasantly surprised when I first learned about it.

It's traditional knowledge that collagen is a huge protein that can't be absorbed by the skin BUT it doesn't mean it just "sits" there!

Normal:
✅ Skin feeling oily after wearing a mask.

✅ Your T-zone getting oily by midday or even after a commute.

✅ A bit of white stuff come out the pores of your nose when you squeeze them.

𝗔𝗯𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹:
🙄 Products misleading you to believe they can ~STOP~ oiliness. You may ask, "Doc paano yun? Oily talaga na extreme, yung tipong napakakintab and lampas na sa dewy? 😔"

Let me emphasize first: sebum or oil is needed by the skin to protect it from drying out and from infections, not to mention it helps maintain the skin's protective barrier.

I disagree with this flowchart hehe.

According to this diagram, "normal" skin is clear & not sensitive. Does it mean that anything other than these 2 features is considered not good/abnormal?

Let's dig deeper 🤓

Credits to @guillcatmd for reposting this interesting tweet! The quality of skin varies greatly depending on the age, geographic location, genetics, time of day, weather condition, etc.

Majority of elderly folks have dry skin - this is normal & an expected finding.

Teens have breakouts & oily skin - this is usual for their age.

Hi everyone.

I have the memory of a goldfish. Kung si Arya may listahan, pwes, tayo rin (saka magagamit natin 'to sa 2022).

Accountability Thread (feel free to add) of cold, hard facts:

Wasters of testing kits
If asymptomatic, even if you're a PUI or PUM, you don't need to get tested. Provided assistance during the transportation crisis (latter was not foreseen because of, well, lack of foresight).

Practice looking at ingredient lists, not the brand!

Your active should fall within the first 5-10 ingredients, otherwise put it gently back on the shelf and keep your money in your pocket 😉

✨ACTIVE + (A)CTION/(E)FFECT, below✨ Retinoids aka retinol retinaldehyde

A:
⬆️ collagen production
⬇️ melanin

E:
smoother skin
more even pigmentation
