LGBTQ+ students have the right to a safe, welcoming school environment. I spend all day with teenagers, and let me tell you- they see and hear the rhetoric at school board meetings and online. It's literally killing some of them. It's killing some of their teachers, too. Your words, your posts, and your actions are making school unsafe for too many kids and it means they aren't learning and teachers are overwhelmed trying to be counselors.
