So... we need to talk about how to present "votes remaining" model estimates when there pretty clearly aren't votes remaining, because what's currently being done is going to feed misinformation promoters and election deniers. 🧵(1/)
For context, mail-in votes grew from less than a quarter of all ballots in 2016 to almost half in 2020 (because, you know, reasons). That year, another quarter voted early in person, so less than a third of votes were cast on election day. See fivethirtyeight.com/features/what-… (2/)

Everyone needs to, respectfully, chill the fuck out. Only thing we're pretty sure of at this point is that Florida is probably going to disappoint, but we don't need Florida. And everything else is still TBD!
Let's go down the list. Georgia? We're behind, but most of Atlanta is still outstanding. And we don't need it to win anyway.
