Maijishan Grottoes is located in Tianshui City of Gansu Province, China. Construction of Maijishan Grottoes began in Houqin Dynasty (221 BC - 206 BC), progressing through to Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911). The Northern Wei Dynasty (386 - 534) was also a time of its great prosperity.
