Budget 2023 will have a total allocation of RM372.3 billion, with the top three recipients being Ministry of Finance (RM67.2 billion), Ministry of Education (RM55.6 billion), and Ministry of Health (RM36.1 billion), constituting 43.3 per cent of total expenditure. Families earning less than RM2,500 per month with five or more kids are entitled to Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia (BKM) assistance of up to RM2,500.

Meanwhile, those who earn less than RM2,500 with one to four kids are entitled to RM1,000 - RM2,000.
