Pharmacist’s FYI:

People who are missing their RXs by mail can’t simply walk into a pharmacy and get more.

Their insurance already paid for the fill, and insurance will not pay to fill it again until a few days before the RX is out. They will be told to pay the cash price. I saw a tweet from a poor man whose cancer RX is 10 days late in the mail and counting.

He would have to pay $35k if he walked into CVS to try to get more right now
