We have, unfortunately, been alerted to further online misinformation and vexatious claims about the work that we do and what LGBT Inclusive Education is in Scotland.

We would like to (again) write a thread to address this. It has been claimed that we deliver a "sex education curriculum" and "teach pupils about anal sex"

This is untrue. We don't cover sex education in our work, and we didn't contribute to the RSHP curriculum resources. There is information about that here: rshp.scot/faq

We want to address something, which we have taken legal advice regarding.

We have been receiving attacks for months because we are an LGBT charity working with schools.

Serious content warning. This thread contains screenshots that could be triggering. We are a charity which works with schools, teachers, and educators to tackle prejudice-based bullying. We provide anti-bullying sessions and gender stereotypes/equalities workshops to schools, and produce resources to include LGBT people and history in the curriculum.

Following @NicolaSturgeon supportive tweet today, we are concerned by misinformation being spread online regarding LGBT-inclusive education in schools. This appears to be focusing on matters related to trans youth, so we’d like to make very clear what the reality is.
