"...love to know what happened the days right after"
Andersen agrees with me about the shock of someone in Wuhan seeing a match of the Wuhan Institute of Virology's published RdRp 4991 to the virus spreading in the city.
But here's a weird thing...

Image Andersen's reply above comes after Holmes had just revealed to his fellow authors that back on Jan 4 2020 "my spy" had showed him a tree of 4991 showing a match to the new virus.
He is doing this now because he thinks it helps a narrative that will exonerate Shi Zhengli 2/n Image

Gobsmacked seeing Eddie Holmes acting shocked at realising testing "gazillions" of viruses in the lab could be risk. I wondered before why he Rambaut and Andersen never said this in their paper.
Think he's faking, imo they knew but decided not to encourage the "lab escape crowd" Image Above is from a drop by Senator Rand Paul of new Slack discussions between Proximal Origin authors, virologists Andrew Rambaut, Robert Garry, Kristian Anderson, Eddie Holmes, during and shortly after the paper was published in 2020.

OK so now listened to Pt 2 Dunt/Lynskey Rowling and it is worse.
I swear down this section, where Lynskey snarks about @hannahsbee and Hilary Cass having no experience in the field of "gender health care", provoking sniggering from Ian Dunt, perfectly sums up the whole show. Dunt/Lynskey pose as 'exploring' how JK Rowling got radicalised, but they know they have to to deal with events that spoil that narrative. So note how they briefly mention Beira's place with calculated bad faith leaving out how it totally vindicated JKR's stance.
Utter frauds

This is strange, the Peggie decision *does* correctly quote this passage later.
The first time they misquote it *and* wrongly imply it *doesn't* mean an exception. Later, because they know they have deal with the fact it is a section setting out exceptions they quote again but... Image they only correctly quote FWS in trying to undermine the exceptions there by picking on the word "reasonableness" to say it gives them leeway to ignore the exception!
Specious imho because FWS only used it once when saying it was reasonable to ignore GRC's.
Really reaching imho Image

6 foot man confronted by 5 ft woman after he knew damn well she wasn't happy he was in the w changing room and management had gave her bum's rush - so he had to make it sound good. A conversation about teh reality of his sex became "harassment" then fakes her danger to patients Oh dear don't get the impression Pitt is going to go out on a limb for Upton relating his fainting fit and behaviour - which btw no one else has seen but the key people he reported to to - but no specifics? Memory not so good?

A Hearing with the NIAID Senior Scientific Advisor, Dr. David Morens,

Link to live feed starts 7pm UK David Morens testimony delayed for 2 hours for some reason.
I must admit I am quite fascinated to see this because I can't see how he can say anything that makes his own words about avoiding FOIA look less guilty. Image

I found out Owen Jones had put put out a video in response to the Nolan Investigates Stonewall doco So I sat through the whole thing. All one hour thirty three minutes and nineteen seconds of it. And I am now a bit shocked. It was far, far, worse then I could have ever expected. He addressed not one thing in the documentary. Didn't play a clip or quote a single line from it. Not one point was dealt with. I am not exaggerating that his single critique was it had "hammed up dramatic music". Even that I think he might have just picked up second hand.

After the JK Rowling's "TERF Wars" essay I noticed some social science mentioned debated that I found interesting so I'm creating this thread as a quick reference with a few links together with my total layman speculation

The children's trans charity Mermaids replied with an open letter addressing JKR's implied concerns about "male violence" from trans women, saying:

"This research shows that trans women are no more a threat to women than other cisgender women" (2/14) mermaidsuk.org.uk/news/dear-jk-r…
