Some really awful bills moving through the Florida Legislature this week including a six week abortion ban (SB300) being heard March 28th at 8:30am in the Fiscal Policy Committee. The expansion of the Don’t Say Gay law that will be heard on the House Floor this week. Call your State House Representative and tell them to vote no on HB1069.

Some truly awful bills were heard in the Florida Legislature last week. They include HB 1, a handout to millionaires and a $4 billion corporate giveaway of public school money to unaccountable charter schools designed to defund public education in the state. SB 494 would allow landlords to charge perpetual, nonrefundable fees instead of a one time refundable security deposit. It’s obviously meant to squeeze cash out of desperate renters and is being pushed by out of state special interest groups.

Florida Republicans have filed a barrage of awful bills for the state legislative session that’s hard to believe. I wrote and listed them one by one to illustrate how extreme these proposals truly are. Please share to spread word of what’s happening in Florida.

This truck is at Miami city hall calling out corrupt commissioner @JoeCarolloNow for having a chicken protestor illegally arrested (charges were dropped) after he and his wife gave a friend nearly a million of our tax dollars for a few ugly statues of dogs in a no bid boondoggle. Now the cops are giving the truck driver a hard time but they ultimately let him continue.

She says we’re not press despite DeSantis’ own lawyers saying I’m a “journalist” in a motion to dismiss against a federal lawsuit I filed. We wanted to ask DeSantis’ cruel migrant stunt. Here is officer Heredia-Rubio acknowledging that we are never violent and that his orders to block us from these publicly funded press events by DeSantis from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Same agency that has an 89 page dossier tracking my social media activity.

One of the worst emails, showing an exchange between this Rick Scott aide detailing their strategy to squeeze money out of different corporate entities like big sugar and for-profit prisons in exchange for attacking their critics and doing positive stories on these corporations.

Since Ron DeSantis took office, rents across Florida have increased by 40% compared to 25% nationally. Ron DeSantis and the Republican Party of Florida have accepted over $18 million in contributions from the real estate industry in contributions of $5,000 or more. Since January of 2021, as Florida has become the “least affordable place to live in the US,” political giving by those in the real estate industry has skyrocketed along with rent prices, with the total donations since DeSantis' inauguration now averaging over $12,000 a day.

Here is a mailer trying trick Saratota voters into believing Florida GOP Chair Joe Gruters is a moderate when really he is a hardcore MAGA supporters who sent buses from Florida to the January 6th riots. It gets more shady though. The mailer is paid by Accountability in Government, an entity ran by William S. Jones = Stafford Jones. Stafford Jones is the former Alachua County GOP chair who fronts most of Data Targeting-controlled PCs.

I got new emails from Florida Power & Light linked consultants and Brian Burgess, who worked as Rick Scott’s communications director. They outline a plan to take over media outlets in the state to provide favorable coverage for FPL and big corporations.

Matrix LLC was the firm retained by FPL involved in election fraud schemes including the fake candidate scheme in State Senate races.

Ron DeSantis is again failing to condemn neo-Nazis holding demonstrations in Florida. This time it was at a Turning Point USA event in which DeSantis himself spoke at. The nazis were seen holding DeSantis signs along with swastikas and other hateful messages. Back in February, Nazis staged violent rallies in Orlando. When faced with criticism over his failure to repudiate these hateful incidents, DeSantis’ spokesperson @ChristinaPushaw decided to push conspiracy theories about whether the nazis were secret Democratic operatives.

This is a memo written by top Democratic consultant Dan Newman and sent to Florida Power & Light by a GOP consultant. It details a plot to primary @JoseJavierJJR because of his work holding FPL accountable. This is the corrupt consultant class working against the working people. Florida Power & Light would go on to fund a fake candidate with the same last name as @JoseJavierJJR to run against him as an NPA and trick voters. He lost by about 30 votes and a former GOP Senator has been charged in this election fraud scheme.

His top individual donor is Ken Griffin, founder and CEO of Citadel LLC. Griffin cut DeSantis a $5 million check in April 2021.
