I must admit, I have been very conflicted surrounding governmental response to the Corona Virus, COVID-19. As I told one of my friends, if the government is involved, no matter the level, it will be too much and not enough at the same time.
The chaos and speed of an evolving situation such as this virus create openings in the vacuum of power in which governments operate on a daily basis.

I’m mad. Not annoyed, not perturbed, but flat-out mad.
It started a few weeks ago when I read Lee Smith’s book “The Plot Against the President,” which detailed @DevinNunes investigation of the Russia investigation into President Trump, named Crossfire Hurricane.
The Republican investigation, which Nunes’ staff called “Operation Medusa,” was aptly named. In one bright spot of the political nightmare that has been the past three years, the Nunes’s memo has been proven to be correct and is right on target.

We have to be honest about what our leaders have been doing. For longer than I care to think about, Washington, D.C. has seen our military as nothing more than pawns in the biggest game of “Risk.” They run foundations and institutes, think tanks and multi-nationals.
And their personal interests don’t always align with what would be best for our nation. Forget the military industrial complex… that was so yesterday. Eisenhower wasn’t thinking nearly big enough.
