Reference the online discussion about the dumping of raw sewage.

There are a lot of MPs that are trying to justify their vote.

I've checked out the details of the actual amedment.

It reads ...

ensure untreated sewage is not discharged from storm overflows

Everyone's feeling a bit harassed today, for obvious reasons. So I though I might pass on a story from the March on Saturday that might help you all feel a bit more upbeat.

I managed to join the march a bit back from the start; and the front of the march had turned off Piccadilly, just as I was passing the Ritz.

At that point, the throng was pretty solid, from one side of the road to the other, and moving quite slowly.

For several years, I worked for companies with offices in Franch, Germany, Italy, Hungary (& others). Occasionally, I would need to go there in a hurry.

Book flight, drive to airport, get off other end and straight to office. No paperwork, visas, extra costs or hassle Equally, their staff visited us. No difficulties, no problems. Almost like going to a site further up country.

It made the business profitable, adaptable, and a great exporter.

Those businesses know Brexit will cause them problems; and they still don't know what to do.

I was at the count this evening for one district. It went quite smoothly.

But despite the instructions being at the top of each ballot paper, some people had obviously found it a bit too challenging to complete their ballots in the approved manner. Those were spoiled papers. A surprising number of people had made 2 marks instead of the instructed. A few had made 3.

There were a dozen or so that had every box filled.
