Ah yes. Appareantly we didn't have residential schools, Concentration Camps for Ukrainians, Italians and Germans during WWI or Japanese people during WWII. Or a head tax on Chinese people or no allowance of Jewish refugees "none is too many" under Mackenzie King pre WWII
Canada has and is racist. Even the leftist movements in Canada have been incredibly racist. With a tinge of Antisemitism, homophobia and anti-Black racism to boot. But let's pretend that this is all Trudeau's fault.
