Gender critical organisations Sex Matters and For Women Scotland have launched a witch hunt to identify and map the identities of trans women participating in women’s sport around the United Kingdom. Screenshot from Twitter by ForWomenScotland Sports: It's women and girls in sport week and FWSSport and Sex Matters Org are undertaking some work to map the trans identified males that are competing in women's sport in the UK This is a clear violation of the privacy and dignity of women who will be targeted. Previous outings of trans women in women's sports have also empowered large online harassment campaigns targetting teams in which they play.

The UK government has decided to conduct an experiment in using legislation to overrule expert medical opinion for trans children and young people.

There is no sign that the potential impacts on those who fall outside of this experiment will be recorded. More than likely, this action, as well as the threats which have already been made of unwarranted referrals to child safeguarding services, will lead to fear of contact with mainstream public health services for trans CYP and their families.

Breakdown of trust is already high.

The @EHRCChair, who has never previously seen fit to communicate with us before, has sent us this letter complaining about the @EHRC being investigated by @Ganhri1 for failures to uphold the Paris Principles as a national human rights institute. Image Baroness Faulkner or her staff couldn't even be bothered to get our name right in this letter. We maintain as we did in 2023, that the @EHRC are not an independent human rights institute, but a vehicle for government appointees to drive government policy.

Anti-trans pseudoscience advocacy group SEGM are claiming that the Norwegian Directorate of Health has decided that youth gender transition is experimental.

This is false! As the Health Directorate make clear here, these interview claims were incorrect.

SEGM and related anti-trans groups have a long history for promoting misinformation and exploiting global context loss in terms of translation and language differences.

The fascists grabbed people and began attacking them, breaking the pub window and causing serious injuries. Fascists broke flags to pieces and began launching them towards people, including our reporter Jess O'Thomson. This is something we are aware of happening in other areas as well for what it's worth. We've monitored parents bragging about intimidating the health professionals providing care to their adult trans children into dropping them as patients for instance.

It's truly disturbing. The leader/founder of UK anti trans hate group Our Duty, Keith Jordan, made threats in late 2020 that he wouldn't rest until the practitioners treating his trans son were locked up or had their heads on spikes. He later deleted the tweet before naming the individuals.

We've been informed that Stella O'Malley, an Irish psychotherapist who is not regulated by a body who regulate against conversion practices, but is used as a source by @BBCNews will be presenting a talk at a conference by Family Education Trust.

We were giving safety advice to the community at the time, so here goes with the evidence: Kellie Jay Keen who is currently ban evading as @StandingforXX has openly called for men with guns to come and use them to intimidate trans women in women's toilets. An important point here. Traditionally conversion therapy has even operated on cis LGB victims through diagnosing them as having a gender identity disorder making them seek same sex intimacy. This played a key part of the ideological underpinning of the theories of notorious conversion therapy innovator Joseph Nicolosi, leading to attempts to de-gay gay men by forcing them into macho pursuits and lesbians by attempting to feminise them.

We heard about this retreat for "parents if gender questioning children" run by SEGM/Genspect leading figures a little while ago.

SEGM/Genspect have a long history of dodgy funding and ties to conversion therapy advocacy organisations.

Disappointing that only a day after the United Kingdom has been rebuked for its sliding LGBT human rights record, the EHRC is putting pressure on Scotland to hold back rather than move foward with reforms. This update acknowledgement is hidden at the end of a 4000 word long read, meaning that despite the article going viral and bring subject to a controversy with feedback from tens of thousands, @BBCNews has chosen, again to hide embarrassing information from readers.
