🧵(1/5) Buckle up, this an extremely serious thread about the allegedly non-biased entity Committee to "Protect" Journalists (CPJ) @pressfreedom and its disgusting complicity in the mass killings of Palestinian journalists:

Despite it being the worst crime committed against journalists in history, CPJ continues to cast doubt on Palestinian figures and underestimates the number of journalists killed, despite accurate and fully documented evidence of each journalist’s murder by Palestinians.

Instead of condemning Israeli mass murder and the direct targeting of journalists, CPJ has now chosen to post about freedom of press under Hamas rule instead. On their page. they also frame the false figures as a result of both Hamas and Israeli attacks on journalists. 👇(2/5) In its article about Hamas's suppression of speech, CPJ quotes journalist Ibrahim Mohareb about how Hamas affects his freedom of speech. Ironically, Ibrahim has already been murdered by an Israeli tank in August 2024, a fact documented even on their own website.

There is no mention that Ibrahim has already been murdered by Israel for his coverage of events, and the article instead focuses on how Hamas suppressed his voice. A dead body doesn't have ANY voice.

For example, with sound traveling at approximately 340 m/s, the time difference between the bullet crack and the muzzle blast can be used to estimate the shooter’s distance from the recording device. His visual analysis also disproves the Israeli narrative about a rifle, showing that what was claimed to be a weapon was actually the shadow of a paramedic. In addition, filtered audio of the final seconds captures Israeli soldiers interacting with rescue workers, further dismantling claims that the medics were mistakenly targeted. Entire families are arriving to neighborhoods that have had no running water or proper infrastructure for over a year. We used to deliver water to a single neighborhood and provide enough for everyone, but now, the population in Gaza City and the upper north has drastically increased, making it impossible to meet everyone’s needs.

Despite our best efforts, many still go without water. The global and international community must act now, as this is a humanitarian disaster in the making. In under 36 hours, we have provided nearly 100,000 liters of water to North Gaza, and we are doing everything we can to continue scaling up our efforts. With your support, we can ensure that more families get the water they need to survive.

Today (29.01.2025), we delivered 47,000 liters of fresh water across Gaza City and the upper north, focusing on areas most in need:
