If the ACLU was so confident in the Constitutional case for birthright citizenship, why are they buying ads to make their case in the court of public opinion?

That chart claiming 44% of US unicorn founders are foreign-born is making the rounds again. It’s from Stanford’s Ilya Strebulaev. The data is technically accurate. The conclusion people draw from it is not. Here’s why, using Robinhood. 🧵 The chart has two big problems:
