Alhaitham tells us:
• the origin of writing & language are lost, and it’s forbidden to look into
• eternal silence is the only answer given to the “profoundest eternal questions”
These might seem negative… but maybe this video gave us a hint on the truth of Silence.
(1/17)
To understand Silence, we first need to ask why the origin of words and creation of language are forbidden from research.
The answer to this question might be found in Plato’s dialogues, in a story on how Thoth’s invention of writing would lead to ignorance of humanity

“Yes, ravens. […] Birds that live fast and die fast, a noisy lot and no mistake… ‘Only when they die do they wake up.’ […]” - Fairy of the silver bottle
Only when they die do they wake up… because…
“life, what is it but a dream?” - Lewis Carroll
Side not that Lewis Carroll has a poem called “Phantasmagoria” in 7 parts.
Kind of silly he also has a poem to Miss Vera Beringer… though it’s content seem to have no correlation to Vera’s Melancholy

A long time ago, in a twt post far far away, I said I was going to make a 🧵on the potential significance of the Aurora Borealis appearing at the Fatui Harbinger gathering for Signora’s death.
… then I forgot the idea completely 🫣 but here it is, aurora symbolism time!
The term “Aurora Borealis” comes from the combination of: 1. Aurora, the Roman goddess of Dawn; Greek equivalent was Eos.
and
2. Boreas, the Greek god of the north wind (cold winter air)… or in Genshin’s case, Mondstadt’s beloved icy-wind doggo

// Genshin Candace
With the new Candace leaks out, I wanted to share a small 🧵to clear up some misunderstandings on the origin of her name
Candace (Kandake) was actually a royal title used to refer to Queens or Queen Mothers, not the name of a specific historical figure!
🧵
The Kandakes / Candaces, were the warrior queens or queen mothers of the ancient African Kingdom of Kush during the Meroitic Period.
As a matrilineal society, their children were next in line for the throne, and they held absolute authority within the kingdom.

#GenshinLore thoughts on Sumeru Adventure Journal Vol 3
What if… the ominous power causing The Withering in Sumeru is similar to the same power behind delusions?
The Withering — resulting from Tumors of the Withering — causes a decrease in all resistances & max HP of party
🧵
“Decay” in Sumeru gradually decreases resistances to ALL damage + decreasing max HP… is kind of similar to the aging effect of delusions
Aging… a point in life most noticeable when the body starts deteriorating.
