"women are capable of consenting to bdsm" and "the large majority of porn that young people are watching these days is violent and young girls are increasingly pressured to imitate these things to please men they're intimate with before they've even have a vanilla relationship" are not mutually exclusive concepts and im tired of seeing people completely misunderstand or ignore that criticism

idk. just. every morning I wake up I think about how I had the gall to even say anything the previous day as my brain makes me picture literally anything I posted on the front page of a cringe subreddit. like. it's just instantly 'oh someone out there fucking hates me now' and I know it's irrational but I really don't I can 'escape' that feeling bc I WANT to post and I WANT to make things and share with others and the feeling of just like. not liking myself in the slightest

something horrible about unlocking the knowledge that there are people out there dedicated to making fun of everything you do and something horrible about feeling like you've had all safety to just even exist taken from you you can delete and recreate and you can block but there's something so much insidious about understanding that even the act of existing was enough for people to dislike you and you start to ask what other basic functions of your life are capable of being made fun of by strangers

'society value masculinity over femininity! this is why I will now talk about how this means butches and people who are percieved as women who are masculine are actually socially accepted' please talk to literally any butch and especially literally any trans butch the first part is true but the second part isn't and it sucks bc im pretty fucking sure butch trans women aren't actually more acceptable to society than femme trans women (this is not saying one has it worse than the other)

wanna make a video sometime abt how mental illness is a construct & what the role of diagnosis is actually supposed to play bc I feel a lot of people are under the impression that it works like kin where u find out what symptoms or traits you have and then you stick it in ur bio like I do support self dx but I think a lot of peoples approach to it isnt actually helping them in the way it could, I know that it helps to understand that other people are like you and experience similar things but a large part of diagnosis is specifically

Here's the thing. You said a "hal is a dirk."

Are they in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that.

As someone who is a scientist who studies hals, I am telling you, specifically, in science, no one calls hals dirks. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing.

If you're saying "strider family" you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of Strilondes, which includes things from roxys to roses to daves.
