I came to get a free COVID-19 test with my mom in Maryvale, on 66th Ave. & Encanto. We got in line at 5:30 am.
Six hours later, we’re still waiting to get tested.
Why is it so challenging to get tested?
I’ve seen cars that waited hours, were ahead of me and left.
For some, I’m sure they have kids or jobs to get to. So I don’t blame them.

1/For the past year and a half, @breeburkitt and I have worked on a statewide database of police shootings that have happened from 2011 to 2018. In our findings, we found Arizona police shoot someone every 5 days. azcentral.com/in-depth/news/…

2/Of the 600 cases between 2011 and 2018, we found police have shot 627 people, killing more than half. Arizona averaged about 78 police shootings a year. Here’s how we found and analyzed the data:
