what i wish leftists knew: disability is both a physical experience and an economic status. it announces how well your body can perform under capitalism. it is forced poverty--ppl recognized by the govt as disabled & on SSI can never possess more than $2,000 in their name think about what that means. never buying a car. never being able to put first last and security on an apartment. never having the funds for a wheelchair. not just because you are poor: because you are forced to be poor as punishment.

just got yelled at by a poll worker and confronted by a cop for trying to socially distance while dropping off my mail in ballot i hate this whole country so fucking much it was at a school and there was a line that went inside, so i was trying to social distance by going a few feet further into the very cramped hallway, poll worker thought i was tryna get into the school even tho i explained multiple times i was trying to social distance
