Last week, the bodies of 215 Indigenous children were found in a mass grave. Yesterday, a 9-year-old boy was orphaned because of Islamophobia. Today, I witnessed anti-Black racism in one of my restaurants. 1/ I am exhausted. I’m sick of telling people we’re going to get past this or to be resilient. I watch politicians and leaders say the right things, and then defend Bill 21–which discriminates against people—in the same breath. 2/
