@SaysSimulation I think one aspect which is missing in your analysis is the University system in US (or maybe I have missed it). One reason US has Sci-tech superiority is the wonderful University System which ends up attracting the best talents and later on absorb the best of the lot 1/2 @SaysSimulation Even those not absorbed by US remains and acts as cultural ambassador /bridge in their home country and the next generation is trained by them or they end up becoming business / political leaders in their home country. The decadence in the Universsities is going to erode this.
