ಕೋವಿಡ್ ನಂತರದ ಗ್ಲೋಬಲೈಸೆಶನ್ ರೂಪ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ದೇಶಗಳು ಅತಿಯಾಗಿ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೆಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಬದಲು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಗತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆದಷ್ಟು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲೇ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವತ್ತ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಡುತ್ತಿವೆ. ರಶಿಯಾ-ಉಕ್ರೇನ್ ಯುದ್ಧವೂ ಅಮೇರಿಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ ಜಾಗತೀಕರಣದ ಬುನಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಅಲುಗಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಂತದ್ದೇ. ಈ ಡಿ-ಗ್ಲೋಬಲೈಸೆಶನ್ ನಡೆ ಯಾವ ರೂಪ ತಳೆಯಬಹುದು ಅನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಲಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡರೂ ಒಂದಂತೂ ಸತ್ಯ. ನಾಡುಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ಇವತ್ತಿನ ತುರ್ತು ಕಲಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಸಾಧಿಸುವಂತಹ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ನುಡಿ ಬೇಕು.

1. Every time I go to an HDFC ATM, I remember an incident that happened nearly 10-12 years ago. It was an ATM near Sarakki. I was standing in the queue to get in for nearly 15 mins. The person inside the ATM was struggling to operate for some reason. 2. Running out of patience, I knocked on the door and asked if there is any problem with the machine. He sheepishly smiled at me and told me "swalpa help maadi, options arta aagta illa".

1. Union govt didn't order for enough vaccines so when things went out of hand, gave freedom to states to procure on their own while being fully aware that foreign companies need liability cover from none other than the Union govt and global tenders by states meant nothing. 2. Few states tried floating global tenders ( UP, KA, MH, PB etc) and it was clear that none of them could procure even one dose independently without Union govt giving liability cover. Ball again went back to Union. In between, some 3-4 weeks of time just passed by.

೧.ಭಾಷಾವಾರು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಬಲ ಜಾತಿಯವರ ಹಿಡಿತ ಬರುತ್ತೆ, ಸಣ್ಣ ಜಾತಿಗಳು ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗೋದು, ತಮ್ಮ ಏಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಒತ್ತಡ ಹೇರುವುದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ ಅನ್ನುವ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರಿಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಇವತ್ತೊಂದು ಬರಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಲಿಬೆಲೆಯವರು ಭಾಷಾವಾರು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ subtle ಆಗಿ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ೨.ಪ್ರಬಲ ಜಾತಿಯವರ ಹಿಡಿತದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರವನ್ನು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿತ್ವ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವ ನಡೆ ಬಹುಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಆಗಲೇ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿದೆ. ಇಷ್ಟಾಗಿಯೂ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇದೆಯಾದರೂ ಅದು ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಟ್ಟದೇ ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೆ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಣ್ಣ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ.

ಕನ್ನಡ ನುಡಿಯಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವೆಲ್ಲ ಭಾಷಿಕ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿವೆಯೋ ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ತುಳುವರಿಗೂ ಇವೆ. ತುಳುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿಕೆ, ಆಡಳಿತ, ಮನರಂಜನೆ, ನ್ಯಾಯದಾನ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ದೊರೆಯಬೇಕು. ತುಳು ಭಾಷಿಕ ಚಳುವಳಿಗೆ ಇಂತಹದೊಂದು ಫೋಕಸ್ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅದನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿರೋಧಿ ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಪರ ಅಂದರೆ ತಮಿಳು ವಿರೋಧ ಅಂತ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರಿಂದ ಕನ್ನಡ-ತಮಿಳು ಭಾಷಿಕರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವೂ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಭಾರತದ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ
ಹಿಂದಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ ನೀತಿಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಭಾಷಿಕ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾನತೆ ಸಾಧಿಸಬೇಕು ಅಂದರೆೆ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಭಾಷೆಗಳೂ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿಯೇ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

Some of my learning with Kannada Publishing space over the last 15 months:

1> Demand for good Kannada books exist and it exists in a big way than most people think. Writers who are social media savvy and have a direct engagement with their readers have found good success. 2> Government's support for Kannada books through procuring for government libraries has a perverse incentive to push crappy content and keeps many frivolous publishers in the business. This has also made most publishers complacent.

I am a voter in Bengaluru South. I am really keen to hear a candidate's plan for my state.

Some issues that are important to me:
1> Injustice in IBPS bank exams to Kannadigas
2> Injustice in PG medical seat allocation to locals 3> Amending art 343-351 and making Kannada an official language of the Union along side 21 other scheduled languages.
4> Bringing railways to concurrent list and letting intra-state railway projects handled by the state
