According to Valmiki, Ramayana has 500 chps and 24000 shlokas.

Todays Ramayana with Uttara Kanda has 648 chps.
Even if we exclude uttar kanda it has 37 extra chapters.

This proves that uttara-Kanda was not written by Valmiki. Veda is for everyone {Yajur-Veda 26/2}
