I was based in Latin America for over a decade before moving back to the U.S. in 2017. While covering the armed militia pursuing migrant families in southern New Mexico, I wondered what people who support such actions think. Turns out their views abound on the Facebook pages supporting the United Constitutional Patriots nytimes.com/2019/04/18/us/… via ⁦@nytimes⁩ Some examples follow including this statement: “We need to start putting land mines all over the place so they have to take a huge chance to come here”
