1. Words to remove/ delete while editing (because it doesn't affect the meaning in any way):
- very
- just
- really
- that
- quite
- thing (replace with the specific word)
- get or got (pick the more descriptive word)
- ing verbs (the girl is running -> the girl runs)
1) Use positive/neutral language with your children.
Instead of saying, "Don't drop it."
Say, "Hold it firmly."
The same applies to adults.
2) A coworker used to brew coffee every morning for the whole team
Until another colleague told him that his "brewing" skills sucked
He stopped making more coffee for the team after that.
When people do things from the heart, don't smash their good deeds with your poison.
