IN THIS THREAD: an answer to the question many are asking about why the suspect in #waukeshaChristmasParade tragedy was not held in this case without bail. I know we see that move a lot on @lawandordertv but it's not that simple. I connected with both an active local judge, and local defense attorney who confirm it is possible to hold someone without bail in Wisconsin, but it's judicially tricky. There are burdensome legal hurdles.
