Max Bernier take note: Newcomers have not threatened what it means to be Canadian. To the contrary, they have enriched what it means to be Canadian. Because being Canadian means being compassionate, being hospitable, and not just tolerating difference, but celebrating difference. Other than Indigenous persons on this land, Canada has been founded by a series of people who hail from all 4 corners of the Globe, who have sought safety here, settled here, raised families here, built businesses here and contributed to their communities.
