Kshana Shraddha ...Minimum of two Vipras (learned in at least one Veda), Brahmins, and cooked food required. If such Brahmins r not available, then at least ones knowledgeable in Purusha Sukta, if such ones are also not available then those knowledgeable in Gayatri mantra.

Brahma's grandson is Surya. He was born to Aditi from Kashyapa. Surya had problem in finding a girl to marry him due to the following reasons. Sun was extremely 'hot & busy' & his height & width were the same. On learning of his grandson Sun's matrimonial problem, Brahma called his son Tvastru Prajapati & told him to give his daughter Sanjna to Surya in marriage. Prajapati agreed since 'Brahma the lord of fate himself' is proposing this. So Sun marries Sanjna.

On learning that Devatas are worshipping their Atmas instead of Paramatma, Brahma cursed Devatas to 'lose all the knowledge they had acquired'. Devasted Devatas fell at Brahmas feet, confessed to committing blunder, sought pardon and restoration of their knowledge.

The weekly entertainment at Vyara, used to be eating some snacks and a seeing movie in a theatre. I believe there was only one theare at that time. We used start at around 3 PM and return by 10 PM. A jeep used to take us back and forth from Vyara to Kakrapar.
