1. If a dad is ashamed that he needs a second job at McDonalds on the weekend, he might tell his kid a white lie about where he goes. In the future, that kid might realize something was odd, and wrongfully conclude his dad was cheating on his mom. 2. Similarly, there are shady deals happening in the world. So, whoever has the intuitive insight that that's the case is not wrong in that. But to jump to an outlandish conclusion will never be of help.
