If I were associated with the New York Times I would be awfully embarrassed by the paper's decision to run a serious attempt to assassinate the Speaker Of The House below the fold. I'm sure the story about the ethics of UK Prime Minister's father-in-law is fascinating, but it's probably a bit less important to the newspaper's primarily American readers than that a man deranged by right wing propaganda sent the Speaker's 82-year old husband to brain surgery.
